Isabel Soria, a 50 year old Filipino woman killed, succumbed to injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle while crossing the street at 3:00pm on June 11, 2018 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Soria was on her way to Service Ontario to renew her drivers license when she was struck at the corner of Dufferin Street and Briar Hill Avenue.

The vehicle, which was described as a silver or grey Dodge Ram pickup did not remain on the scene.

Soria, who had lived in Canada for 18 years, had just recently been joined by her husband from the Philippines. Her husband was on his way to work at the time of the accident, and was waiting at a bus stop a few steps away.

She was taken to an area hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Police has released surveillance video of the suspect vehicle, as well as a description of the driver.

The suspect is described as a white male, 30 years old, and was wearing a construction vest at the time of the accident.
