Hello, is it me you’re looking for?
With the world becoming a much smaller place every single day, exposure to different languages are much more commonplace. According to bigseventravel.com (where they inspire people to travel someplace new), these are the top 50 sexiest accents in the world for 2019.
Philippines vs Canada, which one has a sexier accent?
How did our two favourite countries do? Considering that there are more than 7,000 languages in the world, not too bad, really.
The Philippines ranked #21, while Canada ranked #13.
As you can imagine, the list is very subjective. For example, there are more than 187 different languages and dialects in the Philippines, each with its own different accent.
Then there’s Canada, which has two official languages, English and French. Over 14% of Canadians reported speaking a language other than French or English.
The indigenous peoples of Canada have 65 distinct languages and dialects. If you ask us, they’ve got dibs on the original Canadian accent.
In any case, this whole list is very open to interpretation. Think of it what you will, to us it’s just another fun way to say, hey we were included in the list.
