KZ Tandingan is coming to Toronto for a one night concert at the Rhema Event Centre at Downsview Park in Toronto on Saturday, September 7, 2019.

The 27 year old Filipino singer from Digos, Davao del Sur first rose to fame after coming up on top after the first season of The X-Factor Philippines.

She was part of of the supergroup DIVAS with Yeng Constantino, Kyla and Angeline Quinto. DIVAS performed with Boyz II Men during their Philippine convert in 2018.

She became famous internationally after participating in the Chinese television series, Singer 2018.


As a young child, Tandingan discovered a love for singing.

Tandingan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City.


Tandingan joined the first season of The X-Factor Philippines, wowing the judges with her rendition of the Judy Garland classic “Somewhere over the Rainbow”, for which she received a standing ovation.

During the same performance, she also sang The Fugees’ “Ready or Not”, showing her versatility.

A video of her performance on the show went viral on YouTube.

A few other songs she sang during her The X-Factor run included APO’s “Mahirap Magmahal ng Syota ng Iba” and Roberta Flack’s “Killing Me Softly with his Song”.

Tandingan went on to become the first winner of The X-Factor Philippines in 2012.


Tandingan continued to join local contests in the Philippines, including Himig Handog, where she performed “Scared to Death”, placing fourth and winning PhP100,000.

She went on tour with Side-A, opening for them for concerts across North America in 2013.

She released her first album shortly thereafter.

In 2014, Tandingan joined The Singing Bee, a strange combination of karaoke and spelling bee competition where she went up against Frenchie Dy and Sitti. She went on to win PhP$1,000,000.

She joined Your Face Sounds Familiar in 2015, competing with singers like Sam Concepcion. She finished third in that competition.


Tandingan gained international recognition after her participation in the Chinese show Singer 2018. During her nine week run, she sang songs like Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” as well as Lorde’s “Royals”.

She endeared herself to Chinese audiences with her versions of three popular songs in Mandarin. She was praised for her artistry and creativity in different musical genres, gaining a solid fanbase on popular Chinese social media channel Weibo.

She came back to Singer 2018 to sing a Mandarin & Tagalog version of Freddie Aguilar’s classic “Anak”, and performed with series winner Jessie J.


KZ Tandingan Supreme World Tour is brought to you by our friends from Petmalu Events and JFC Event.

The concert will be on September 7, 2019 at the Rhema Event Centre 40 Carl Hall Road at Downsview Park in Toronto, with special guest star GLC9NE.

Opening for KZ are The South East Cartel, Familia, Super Diego, Team Exeqt and The UpperCase Band.

Regular tickets are CAD85, while VIP tickets with a selfie with KZ will set you back CAD135.
