The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is hosting a reception for the Philippine National Bobsled Team, who will be in Whistler, British Columbia for training.




THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN

Buddy Cunanan, chief of the Philippine National Bobsled, Luge and Skeleton Association (PNBLSA), will be accompanying Rolando Isidro and Jerby Deriada will be in Whistler to train for their next competition.

The Philippine National Bobsled Team won bronze at the Alberta Cup Provincial Championship in Calgary last March.




THE ROAD TO THE 2022 WINTER OLYMPICS

The Philippine National Bobsled Team is trying to qualify for the 2022 Winter Olympics to become the team from Southeast Asia.

The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver is encouraging the local Filipino community to come and support the team in their quest to compete in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

The Philippine Consulate General will host the team at their offices on November 7. For more information, visit www.vancouverpcg.org
