Canadian superstar Michael Buble just gifted his grandfather’s Filipino caregiver a house, with a little help from the Property Brothers.

CANADIAN SINGER SAYS THANK YOU TO FILIPINO CAREGIVER IN A BIG WAY

The house was constructed by his grandfather Demetrio Buble, whom the caregiver took care of until his final days.

One of Buble’s grandfather’s dying wishes was to give the house to Minette, his caregiver as a final thank you.

Before handing over the hose to Minette, Buble had the home renovated on HGTV’s Celebrity IOU show, where famous celebrities pay it forward by giving homes to people who have made a difference in their lives.

HGTV showed the Buble episode on Monday, May 4, 2020.

FILIPINO CAREGIVER TOOK CARE OF BUBLE’S GRANDPARENTS

Minette had been working for the Buble family as a caregiver for eight years, taking care of both grandparents before they passed.

Buble knew of the caregiver’s situation and admired her selflessness even as she cared for his grandparents.

“Minette doesn’t keep any of the money that she makes,” Buble said on the show. “She’s got a lot of family in the Philippines and she takes that money and sends it all back.”

Buble went further to describe her as a “really compassionate, kind, emphatic human being.”

Minette shared how Buble would call his grandfather, from whom he said he got his love for music, before every concert to ask for his special requests.

CAREGIVER’S NEW HOME WAS RENOVATED BY THE PROPERTY BROTHERS

Minette’s new home was renovated by Buble’s fellow Canadians Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott, more popularly known as the Property Brothers.

The house was built in the 1970s, and by the time Buble and the Property Brothers were completed with the Reno, it had become a modern and airy home with light wood and soft grays.

Minette was nothing but grateful for the lovely gift.

“Grandpa, thank you so much,” she said.
