Visitor Visa – How To Apply From The Philippines

If you’d like to visit Canada and you’re from the Philippines, you will most likely need to submit an application for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) from the Philippines. Continue reading to learn more about Visitor Visa – How to Apply from the Philippines.

Step 1: Visit The Official Government of Canada Website

Most applications for a TRV are now done online. You’ll need to create an online profile, upload all your documents and pay for the processing fee.

Read and follow the instructions very carefully.

What you’ll need:

• a computer with internet access
• an active IRCC account
• a scanner to scan your documents
• your Philippine passport
• personal information including:
  • passport details
  • financial information
  • educational history
  • police clearances
  • medical test results
  • family information
  • travel history
• other supporting documents
• a credit card to pay for the application fees

Note:

• you have 60 days from when you start your application to submit

Step 2: Create An IRCC Account

Create an online account using the IRCC Portal

• you’ll need a valid email address to receive an invitation code to use when creating your online account
• once you’re created your online account, you can start your application to visit Canada as a temporary resident

Step 3: Start Your Application

You’ll begin by answering a series of questions regarding:
