If you’d like to visit Canada and you’re from the Philippines, you will most likely need to submit an application for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) from the Philippines. Continue reading to learn more about Visitor Visa – How to Apply from the Philippines.
Step 1: Visit The Official Government of Canada Website
Most applications for a TRV are now done online. You’ll need to create an online profile, upload all your documents and pay for the processing fee.
Read and follow the instructions very carefully.

Note:
- you have 60 days from when you start your application to submit
Step 2: Create An IRCC Account
Create an online account using the IRCC Portal
- you’ll need a valid email address to receive an invitation code to use when creating your online account
- once you’re created your online account, you can start your application to visit Canada as a temporary resident
